Dennis teaches private drum lessons out of his studio in Long Island City (Queens), New York (map), practically every day when not on the road. Some (bi-)weekly slots are available, but he also accepts lessons by appointment.

The aim of the lessons is to prepare beginning drummers to function in a band setting, as a team player, and to develop comfortable technique and creativity in order to express him/herself as a drummer freely.
For intermediate to advanced drummers, Dennis offers additional interesting exercises and inspiring concepts. No matter what your playing level is, there is always something to learn!
The studio has two professional drum sets set up, fully equipped with high-end SABIAN cymbals and REMO drum heads.

Drum tuning classes for drummers, sound engineers and DIY producers, as well as anyone else who takes interest in getting great drum sounds.

You will leave the class feeling enlightened about drum tuning and getting great drum sounds. Your next recording will sound better! Remember: the better the acoustic sound of your kit, the easier the producer's job, and the better the end results. There is no such thing as "we'll fix it up in the mix"! Classes take place at my studio in Long Island City, Queens, New York. Dennis is also available for classes at music schools, stores or other public venues.
